WSU Exchange Programs

WSU currently has established exchange relationships with universities around the world. Exchange agreements vary from institution to institution, but in general a student on an exchange program will pay Worcester State University tuition and fees and then accommodation directly to the host institution. To learn more about exchange opportunities, please contact Katey Palumbo at kpalumbo2@worcester.edu or visit the International Programs Office (SC-317).

With the addition of the WSU-UIC exchange agreement, Worcester State University has 15 exchange agreements or formal partnerships. Those include active academic programming with University of Worcester (UK); Dongguk University (South Korea); Chulalongkorn University (Thailand); University of Beira Interior (Portugal); Country Garden Day School (China); Zhejiang Police Professional Academy (China); and University of the Sunshine Coast (Australia);The Czech University of Life Sciences Prague (CULS) Czech Republic.

University of Worcester ~ Worcester, England
Study for a semester at WSU's sister institution, the University of Worcester, England.  Worcester is an ancient English city,135 miles northwest of London. University of Beira Interior ~ Covilha, Portugal
University of Beira Interior is located in the historical and scenic Beira region of Portugal. Courses are offered in a wide range of disciplines including Math, Science, Human & Social Sciences, Communication and Arts. For more information of UBI visit www.ubi.pt    

Chulalongkorn University ~ Bangkok, Thailand

Chulalongkorn university is located in the heart of the bustling city of Bangkok, Thailand. It is Thailand's oldest and most prestigious university whose notable alumni include members of the Thai royal family. This exchange is primarily for science majors though there may be possible for students with other majors as well. To learn more about Chulalongkorn University visit the university

Dongguk University ~ Seoul, South Korea
One of South Korea's top universities, Dongguk offers programs in many academic disciplines. Students are invited on exchange for one semester or an academic year. Seoul is the capital of South Korea and with a population of ten million is one of the largest cities in the world. ​The Czech University of Life Sciences ~ Prague, Czech Republic

The Czech University of Life Sciences offers bachelors´s programmes and Master´s programmes (based on credit system) and doctoral programmes. The University also offers five two-year MSc programmes taught in English (Economics and Management, Natural Resources and Environment Forestry, Water and Landscape Management, Informatics, Technology and Environmental Engineering). Two years long education programme for the elderly (Univerzita třetího věku, [1]) is available. In 2005, the Czech University of Life Sciences (CULS) became a Member in the Euroleague for Life Sciences (ELLS). Established in 2001 the ELLS network.

United International College (UIC) in Zhuhai, China

Situated in Zhuhai, UIC is conveniently located in Guangdong Province in southern China. It is an easy 75-minute. high-speed ferry ride from Hong Kong on the west side of the Pearl River delta area—where the climate is similar to southern Florida. Guangdong’s provincial center is Guangzhou, a historic Chinese city famous for its long history as the primary port of call to the world, and serves as the nearest gateway to the rest of China. Rail service from Zhuhai to Guangzhou takes under an hour.

UIC was formed through a collaborative educational partnership between one of China’s best known universities, Beijing Normal University, and one of Hong Kong’s most elite public universities, Hong Kong Baptist University. Much of the curriculum was adopted from HKBU. Enrolling its first class in 2005, UIC has a student population of 4,400—making it similar in size to Worcester State.   http://uic.edu.hk/

WSU International Partnerships

WSU currently has a partnership agreement established with institutions abroad. University of the Sunshine Coast ~ Sippy Downs, Australia
Located in the heart of Sunshine Coast Australia, USC offers a variety of academic courses and has a b bustling international student population. The campus is located approximately one hour north of Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland. To learn more about USC visit the university homepage.
