Federal and state financial aid can be used for most credit-based travel
programs if the credits earned will apply to your academic program at WSC.
Federal work-study funds cannot be used for study away. Meet with your financial
aid advisor at the WSC Financial Aid Office at (508) 929-8056 to discuss your
individual needs and financial aid package.
Many of the WSC Exchange programs cost the same or
less than WSC. Some scholarships are also available to students. These
scholarship are primarily for students who choose to study abroad a
non-traditional regions of the world including Africa, Asia, Latin America, the
Middle East and Eastern Europe.
Many program providers offer scholarship
opportunities to students on their programs. Check with each program for
information on their scholarships.

Benjamin A Gilman International Scholarship
Scholarship is open to US citizen, undergraduate students who wish to study
abroad. Students may apply worldwide though preference will be given to
applications outside of Western Europe, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. To
be eligible you must be receiving a Federal Pell grant. Summer only not

The Freeman-Asia program
is open to undergraduate students who wish to study in Cambodia, China, Hong
Kong, Laos, Macao, Korea, Malaysia, Mongolia, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand,
Singapore, and Vietnam. Fall, Spring, and Summer cycles
National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Undergraduate
ScholarshipsOpen to US-citizen undergraduates who wish to study
outside of Western Europe, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Fall,
Spring, and Summer cycle. Summer cycle is open only to freshman & sophomores or
applied science & engineering majors.
