Crime Prevention Programs
The University conducts educational programs on sexual assault prevention, alcohol and other drugs, and general issues of personal safety during orientation for first - year students, and at other times during the academic year. A schedule of crime
prevention programs will be posted here when they become available.
RAD (Rape Aggression Defense)
The RAD system is not a martial arts course - it is a realistic program that teaches both the mental and physical aspects of self-defense. Gain confidence in your own self-protection.
Learn how to:
Reduce your chances of becoming a victim (90% of self-defense)
Use your personal weapons (10% of self-defense)
Students, staff and faculty are welcomed! For further information, please contact the WSU Police Department at 508-929-8911.
If you are a victim of identity theft or fraud, please contact the Worcester State University Police Department to file a report. Additional steps should be made to prevent further damage or victimization. If your credit cards or bank accounts have been compromised, immediately notify your financial institutions.
Students and Staff who become victims of identity theft are encouraged to notify at least one of the three major credit reporting agencies and notify them of the incident. This will help protect your credit if your identity has been compromised.
